Glocal Education takes research to places of great naturalistic value, with the collaboration of the most important tour operators. These locations are both appealing and in danger of disappearing due to their delicate ecosystems. Correct environmental awareness and a conscious and sustainable approach are thus fundamental to avoid losing these environmental assets in the next years. When tourists are highly conscious of the attraction, they are more likely to exhibit environmentally responsible behavior. Environmental sensitivity and place attachment were found to exert significant effects in mediating the relationship between environmental knowledge and environmentally responsible behavior.
Activities will be carried out during the holiday and will be divided into theory lessons on biology and ecology, field excursions in various environments surrounding the resort and practical and interactive exercises.
